Thinking was the last frontier.” A respondent in Brazil describes having to prove the AI was wrong with photos, likening it to arguing with a person who would not admit a mistake.

That tension is the heart of the report.

People want AI to expand their lives, but they fear it may erode their agency. They use it to think better, but worry it may weaken their thinking. They want it to make work easier, but fear it may remove work altogether.
