1. Bergman and Klefsjö – Quality from Customer Needs to Customer Satisfaction
This book is a great source to get a holistic perspective of quality management. It is written by two leading Swedish academics. It will give an introduction to different methodologies and tools for quality improvements.
Bo Bergman is Professor emeritus, Technology Management and Economics at the Chalmers University of Technology.
Bengt Klefsjö is a professor at the Luleå University of Technology.

2. The Deming Route to Quality
This book is a classic and presents Mr.Demings approach to quality management. W.Edwards Deming is by many seen as the founder of Total Quality Management principles.

3. Garvins: Eight dimension of quality
Mr. David A.Garvin is the C. Roland Christensen Professor of Business Administration at the Harvard Business School and identified “eight dimensions of quality”. It is mainly used in product quality management and used to analyze quality characteristics.

Dr. Jeffrey K. Liker is Professor of Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan. In this international best-seller, he presents the underlying philosophy and principles of Toyota’s quality culture.
